The installation is designed for modification of plate glass optical properties through its covering with light metal coatings and alloys, as well as with their oxides by means of spraying of metal cathodes in vacuum with magnetron-type abnormal discharge plasma.

The main product is glass with low-emission coating, mirrors, and tinted glass.

The installation operation is based on magnetron-type discharge plasma and ion beams for deposition of thin-film coatings on the plate glass surface in vacuum chamber. Two glass plates are processed simultaneously. The installation is controlled from a standard PC-based panel controlling the operation of vacuum chamber and spraying process in semi-automatic mode.

Laboratory installation «Yashma»

The installation is designed for deposition of magnetron-type discharge plasma coatings, as well as the following:

  • Ion mixing of the plated coating in order to enhance its adhesion compared to base coat.
  • Coating with ion assisting.
  • Gradual multi-layer coating in one cycle.
  • Gas ions implantation (Ar+, N2+ and other) in the treated surface.

The working chamber is equipped with magnetrons, ion sources, scanner, flood-gate and other devices required for enhancement of the installation functionally. The control system bases on programmable logic controller and PC.
