Radionuclide preparations for medical diagnostics
Description
The original preparations were developed:
- «Thallium chloride, 199Tl» — myocardium blood supply assessment.
- «Thallium diethyldithiocarbamate, 199Tl» — brain blood supply assessment.
- «Sodium iodide, 123I» — thyroid examination.
- «Iodohippurate, 123I» — kidney examination.
- Extraction generator 99mTc.
Competitive advantages
Based on the quality of the received gammagrams 199Tl is as good as well-known radiopharmaceutical 201Tl and the former one has 10 times shorter physical half-life period (7.4 hours). The abovementioned allows us to significantly reduce body radiation load and makes it possible to carry out multiple examinations of each medical case.
